Geodesis is a family-run company that has been in the scented candle business for over 20 years. They produce their candles in the Morbihan region of France.

These candles are made from an innovative 100% vegetable wax combination of coconut oil and apricot kernel oil. Thanks to their unique savoir-faire, they are able to develop candles that burn brighter and last longer.

Geodesis has collaborated closely with big names in fragrance for many years and has become known for their candles’ subtle and pleasant scents. The fragrances they use are made in the Grasse region of France and in Switzerland.

Their wicks are made of cotton, with a metal core that does not contain any lead (as per E.U. standards).

Their products are vegan and are never tested on animals.

    Magnifiques bougies, j’ai testé néroli et bergamote et je les adore. Belle qualité de bougie, elle se consume bien, capot vissant très pratique.

Here are a few tips on how to make the most of your candles:

  • Make sure your wick is less than ¼ in. long; trim it regularly, only after your candle has cooled completely.
  • Be sure to choose lead-free candles.
  • Try to let your candles burn for at least two hours at a time; the fragrance is fully released when the surface is completely melted.
  • Place your candles on heat-resistant surfaces and do not burn them in rooms where there is a draft.
  • A fragrance concentration of between 10 and 12% is ideal.
  • Vegetable waxes (like soy, carnauba, jojoba, or coconut oil) burn cleaner, but also faster, and generally do not smell as strong as the mineral waxes that meet American and European standards.

Black Tea: Slightly fruity tea scent. With tea from the Chinese province of Yunnan, a producer known for its exceptional quality.

Neroli: Sensual floral notes, fresh and nearly sleep-inducing; a symbol of purity and eternal youth. With neroli from Morocco.

Bergamot: Citrus notes, floral and zesty. With bergamot from Calabria.

Fig Tree : A slightly acidulated fruity scent, combining the fragrance of the leaf, the sap and the fruit of the fig-tree.

Shipping

Available items are sent by post within approximately 3 to 5 working days. A contribution from you is requested only once per order.

Deliveries are made to the delivery address specified by the customer during the ordering process.

Shipping costs

The amount of shipping costs is indicated in the “shopping cart” section and is subject to the approval of the Customer before the validation of each order; the amount may vary depending on the weight of your package and the country of delivery.

For deliveries in Switzerland and in Europe, packages are shipped by Post at its current rates.

Shipping times

For products in stock, shipping times apply once the payment has been registered with our accounting department and the package has been prepared and deposited with our delivery service provider.

Le Colibry Sàrl (LLC) will inform the customer of any delay in delivery but cannot be held liable for any compensation in this regard.

In the event of damage during transport, a formal complaint must be made within three days of delivery. The claim must include photos of the damage and of the broken part(s).

Exchanges and returns – Warranty in case of defect and retraction period

In the event that a product sold is defective, Le Colibry Sàrl (LLC)’s warranty is limited to the return of the product for exchange or refund, provided that the Customer complies with the conditions and deadlines set out in the following paragraph.

Regardless of whether the product has a defect or not, the Customer, a non-professional natural person, has a retraction period of seven days from the day of delivery to notify Le Colibry Sàrl (LLC) of the return of the product for exchange or refund.

For Switzerland only: in the event of a return in accordance with the two paragraphs above, the price paid will be fully refunded (including delivery costs) for any product weighing less than 5 kg. For any order outside Switzerland: the delivery and return costs for returned goods will be charged to the Customer.

To return a product, contact Customer Support by email at  indicating the order number, the products concerned and the reasons for return. Le Colibry Sàrl (LLC) reserves the right to refuse a return if the Customer has not contacted Customer Service beforehand within the time limits set. Le Colibry Sàrl (LLC) will then indicate the procedure to follow. Any returned product must be returned in its original packaging and must not have been used or damaged.
