Akasha Spa Hotel Lutetia in Paris
Located in the emblematic Hotel Lutetia on Boulevard Raspail, the Akasha spa keeps its promises. A 700 m2 space and treatments from the latest innovations in the field of well-being, beauty, nutrition and fitness. Rather rare in a 5-star hotel, the emphasis here is on holistic treatments and deep regeneration of body and mind.
The best part: take a dip in the sublime 17-meter long pool bathed in natural light and recharge your batteries at the Spa’s restaurant, which offers plant-based products, chia seeds, and organic granola. It is also possible to book a consultation with Valérie Espinasse, a guru specializing in micro-nutrition, well known to Parisians.
Tips: stop by the hotel’s Bar Joséphine before leaving to enjoy a plate of sushi.

Guerlain spa, Hotel Woodward in Geneva
Opened discreetly a few weeks ago, the woodward hotel has not finished making the news. After having tested its two delightful restaurants, l’Atelier Robuchon, and Le Jardinier, I went to the new Guerlain spa. A mythical experience!
Nothing is left to chance, from the waiting room with the fireplace, to the ultra-comfortable cabins and the magnificent 21-meter pool with its multiple baths, saunas, and hammams attached. The only drawback is that the space is in the basement.
For an ultimate experience, I recommend the perfectionist facial, a concentrate of technology (microdermabrasion and photomodulation) to regain a beautiful glow. Usually, I’m not a fan of too much technology. Here, it is combined with a real manual massage, which makes it a really seductive experience.
Bonus points: the facial gym advices offered by the therapist at the end of the treatment, the foot or hand massage during the mask application.
Guerlain is also the most responsible and sustainable luxury skincare brand engaged for the biodiversity protection (especially bee protection with its program beerespect).

Six Senses spa in Paris
A philosophy that respects the environment, 100% local and natural ingredients and an unusual location in the heart of the Place Vendôme district: this is the combination offered by the Six Senses Spa. A zen atmosphere and a feng shui approach where you can relax in beautiful wooden cabins lined with Japanese paper. Originally from Thailand, the honey facial (produced by bees from the Paris Opera hives that gather flowers from the Tuileries Gardens) is their trademark.
What makes the difference ? The hot water used comes straight from the municipality and the organic seaweed-based products are reused as fertilizer to feed the plants of the spa’s green wall or the roses of the Tuileries garden… A beautiful illustration of short circuit and collective responsibility.

Thémaé spa in Paris
Tea lovers, you’ve come to the right place, although here it’s not about tasting it but rather discovering its benefits through targeted treatments and massages. Large cabins, sober and contemporary decoration, the green spirit is present throughout the rituals. The treatments begin with a relaxing infusion of orange blossom absolute and natural plant oils. Polyphenols, aka the antioxidants naturally present in tea, are responsible for giving our bodies a deep boost. Ultra relaxing, we go there to chase away fatigue and find the energy we lack.

Shiseido spa – Hotel Les Jardins du Faubourg in Paris
Located in the heart of the 5* hotel “Les Jardins du Faubourg”, this intimate oasis is well worth a visit. At the heart of the commitments of this Shiseido spa: the art of receiving in the Japanese way, named Omenotashi. A strong principle where the human being is at the heart of the process. Between generosity, attention to detail, and specialized signature treatments, I particularly appreciated the personalized anti-aging lift treatment from Shiseido expertise. A deep regeneration thanks to the Kobido modeling technique. Indeed, this traditional art acts on the balance of Qi (vital energy) and will help firm and tone the entire face. Green tea treatments, or Enmei grass (cultivated with the greatest care under the supervision of Shiseido laboratories to ensure a regular supply of plant extract), the effectiveness is no longer to be proven and we leave with plumped skin and relaxed features.
The best part: once your treatment is over, allow yourself a few laps in the impressive 16-meter long swimming pool or a visit to the hammam and sauna, which are heated all year round – Another idea of the service for a treatment between luxury, calm and pleasure ….
Info: Personalized anti-aging lift treatment 150 € – 60 min. Les Jardins du Faubourg, 9, rue d’Aguesseau, 75008 Paris. lesjardinsdufaubourg.com
